Warm Welcome for New Board Member John Inverarity

A warm welcome to our new Board Member John Inverarity. Well known for his time playing first class cricket for Western Australia and South Australia over a period of 23 years, he played six Tests for Australia and captained WA to four Sheffield Shield trophies.

What people may not know is that John has taught for 36 years in Perth, Adelaide and England, including Hale School, University of Notre Dame and St George’s College at UWA. He more recently became State Manager for WA at Teach for Australia and is now a TFA Ambassador.

Elena Mogilevski Chairperson of the EdConnect Australia Board speaks briefly about John’s appointment.

“On behalf of the EdConnect Australia Board, Staff and extending Volunteer family, I wish to warmly welcome John as a Member of the Board. John brings significant experience in the education sector, including previous positions at Hale School, University of Notre Dame and St George’s College. John’s current involvement at Teach For Australia will ensure EdConnect stays on the forefront of changes within the industry. John’s warm nature and calming disposition make him a huge asset to the EdConnect Board”.
