CanteenConnect

Western Australia

EdConnect plans to develop a project to connect newly arrived migrants with volunteering opportunities in School Canteens. Canteen Connect has been funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services through the Volunteer Management Activity and Volunteering WA.

Emerging Stronger

Victoria

Through the Victorian Government Emerging Stronger Grant funding EdConnect Australia ran a program to reigniting the purpose, passion and power retirees bring to volunteering.

Transition Mentoring

Victoria

With support from the Give Where You Live Foundation, EdConnect Australia piloted a Transition Mentor program in 2021/22 to assist local students from Moolap Primary School grade six and Geelong High School year seven as they progressed through educational transitions.

Virtual Volunteering

Western Australia

EdConnect Australia has been trialling new and innovative ways of connecting volunteers and students so that volunteering can continue regardless of the location of the student and volunteer.

Financial Literacy Workshops

Metropolitan, Western Australia

EdConnect Australia has partnered with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management to offer a series of workshops for students for free. YOLA – Young Once, Learning Always – is series of workshops aimed at high school students to make positive financial decisions now and in the future.

Schools Mental Health Menu

Victoria

EdConnect Australia is honoured to be listed as an evidence-based program on the Victorian Government’s Schools Mental Health Menu, designed to give selected Victorian schools the opportunity to use their mental health funding to purchase our model and improve the well-being of their students.
