National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week 2020

Every year, millions of people all over Australia devote their time to volunteering. No matter how big or small, Australians understand the value of giving back to the community.

National Volunteer Week (NVW) celebrates and acknowledges the kind contribution of volunteers nationwide. This year, National Volunteer Week will run from Monday 18th May to Sunday 24th May with the theme being “Changing Communities. Changing Lives

EdConnect would like to THANK each volunteer who dedicates their time to helping students thrive. All of our volunteers contribute at least one hour a week (many give more) to work with students to improve their educational success as well as their social and emotional wellbeing.

Volunteer catch ups are an important part of volunteering. They give volunteers opportunities to connect and share the great work they do in schools. In this unprecedented time, we commend volunteers who’ve connected in a different way – virtually.
