This workshop will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to support primary aged children to adolescent students with their reading.
You will gain an understanding of why it is so important for students to become proficient readers as well as gaining an understanding of the factors which can contribute towards students finding it difficult to read. This workshop will identify a number of supportive strategies that can be used to help students with their reading. The workshop provides opportunities to practice these new skills in a relaxed, supportive and fun environment. You will leave this workshop with a ‘tool kit’ of new skills and the confidence to support students.
